Here is the top ten travel packing lists:

1. Snacks:

Snacks are always important. You never know when you’ll need a little bit of energy to get through the day or when you’ll be stuck at the airport for hours on end. Having snacks with you is always a good idea, especially if those snacks are healthy! Nuts and granola bars are effective because they won’t spoil and can last for up to a year, so take advantage of this! before starting your journey you need to create a travel packing list. This helps you to enjoy your trip.

2. A good water bottle:

You will be surprised by how many people are out there without a water bottle!

With how hot it gets outside and how dehydrating it can be, bringing a water bottle with you is crucial. Even if you’re only going for one day, you should always have a water bottle with you. This will help ensure that you are staying hydrated.

3. Portable charger:

Whether you’re on a long flight or just using your phone a lot, being able to recharge is vital. A portable charger will ensure that you stay connected without having to worry about finding an outlet. They also come in handy during power outages, when hotels with generators can be few and far between.

4. Scarves:

For women: scarves are one of the best ways to spice up a boring outfit. They’re also the perfect way to hide blemishes, especially on vacation! A scarf can keep your neck warm while you’re walking around or even be used as a blanket if you need it.

For men: scarves might not be your thing, but everyone needs a good hat and sometimes that doesn’t mean baseball caps. A good hat can keep you warm, protect your face from the sun and make any outfit look stylish.

5. An empty backpack:

We experienced this on our own travels when we were heading to Zion National Park, Utah where we were told that our bags needed to be put in a separate suitcase and locked up every night. You always want to be prepared for the unexpected.

6. An empty water bottle:

TSA guidelines say that it is now illegal to bring water through security and onto the plane. This means that you’re going to have to wait until you land and purchase a bottle of water in order to stay hydrated during your flight.

7. A good book:

This might be an obvious one, but it’s a must! Bringing a book with you is great for long car rides, flying, waiting for trains, or even waiting at the airport. Having a book with you will not only keep you entertained but also provide entertainment for other people in the waiting room.

8. A good paper notebook:

The notebook is another item that should be packed for any trip. A good paper notebook can help you organize your thoughts, write down information and even jot down reminders. For our trip to Zion National Park, we kept a notebook of all the hikes that we wanted to try. That way, when we saw one of them in person, we would know exactly where it was because we had written it down!

9. Safe place to keep loose change:

Having loose change is fairly rare these days and this is why you should always have a safe place for it. When going to a new place, it’s easy to get caught up in the culture and forget that you have money at all! Having a safe place for change will ensure that you don’t lose your money during your travels.

10. A good map:

A good map is invaluable when traveling to new places. It can help you get around the city, let you know where the closest places are, and even give you an idea of what landmarks are nearby. If you’re looking for a good map, we recommend using MapMyHike to help you get around!
